I usually get my period every 29 days but this month I'm already 4 days late. I can't be pregnant since i'm still a virgin.
Should I be worried?

Take a deep breath. If your not sexually active, that's one less thing to worry About. Are you an athlete, very active, gym rat or a dancer. I am. Those can delay your cycle. Are you on any meds? including herbal, they can interfere. Do you eat a well balanced diet, sounds silly, but it can affect your cycle. As someone mentioned, STRESS.

if your really concerned and have physical symptoms, call your doctor or gyn. good luck!

Your worrying and that could be causing your period to halt, are you eating properly, are you stressed about anything other than your period, have you been ill recently, all these are common factors for your period to be a bit late, if nothing has happened in a few more days then to put your mind at ease make an appointment with your doctor, hope everything works out for you, good luck.

There should be no reason to worry. :)

Some variation in your cycle is normal. There are many things that can affect your period (stress and diet as previously mentioned) along with an increase or change in exercise program or even illness. There are a lot of things that can throw you off.

Unless you have other symptoms, there should be no problem. However, if other symptoms appear or your period doesn't come back for another cycle make sure to consult a physician.

I am a med and dietetics student. Please take this as an OPINIION only and not as medical advice since I am not an MD or RD yet. Don't panic. Your period will come. You say it comes every 29 days. This is an average. If you are under weight or very athletic, this could cause you to be ammenorheic (not to have a period). I would wait a few days and see if it comes. If it doesn't you can consult your doctor and they will tell you what to do from there. Good luck and hope this helped!

Actually no, sometimes its normal to skip a period, don't worry about it too much, but be prepared!!! Don't let it catch you off guard, sometimes it just likes to show up late and it really can make a scene.

Sometimes your boobs will get sore around the time of your period, if they feel that way then its probably just late, but you shouldn't rely to much on that, sometimes you won't feel anything at all.

If your period skips like two months in a row or something you should probably ask someone about it.

you'd be desiring to go see your dr about. you're assume to have your era at a minimum of each and every 3 months. My wager is you've some hormonal challenge and want some type of med to assist adjust it. it could be so straight forward as contraception. once you've PCOS it might connect why your gaining weight also. Your dr will in all likelihood run some blood checks and probably even to a professional. they might finally want you to do an inner ultrasound to envision for any cysts or something out of the traditional. The extremely sound isn't painful or something, in basic terms feels a touch strange. you'd be desiring to get it treated once accessible. even if it really is PCOS, the longer it is going untreated the more severe the lengthy run outcomes might want to be. it might also be a thyroid challenge or in basic terms you'd be desiring to lose the load you've been gaining. go see your dr!!!

Not if youve never had sex. Your period can vary from time to time especially if your not on any form of birth control. Things like diet, stress and exercise can take its toll on your body and alter your period. Id call the Dr. to check things out if youre a week or more late.

don't be worried at all. if you're still a virgin then you're not pregnant. congrats on being a virgin:) thumbs up to you. talk with your mom or a woman you trust if you're worried, or you can always go to your doc. but don't be afraid that there's something wrong with you. if you have changed your diet lately that could be one reason, stress affects us and our periods too. if you've been exercising a lot that is a factor too.you're fine!

i wouldn't be too worried yet. there are a lot of things that it could be. if you are really skinny, you may not have your period for a while.... like gymnasts. you need to have a certain amount of body fat to have a period. and i believe that some depression pills mess with your period. i would wait it out, but don't be afraid to go talk to a gynecologist if you're too afraid that something might be wrong.
