I am 21 and would like to go to the gynocologist. I'm a virgin and don't know how comfortable I feel about the idea of the speculum and all that. I still have to use "slender" tampons and I'm worried that the instruments/fingers used in the exam will hurt or tear me in a painful way. Anyone have any experience similar to this? Can I get a pap without the full-on pelvic work up? Any advice would be helpful!

When we can have sex with out having condom or pill. After the period. I don;t want to become pregnent. My Husband will not prefer to use Condom and if I take pills I feel drowsy

I took the pregnancy test 4 times they came out negative. It's been 4 days since i haven't have my periods, but i was pregnant once and I feel the same syntomes.

stomach, boob soreness sore everywhere it hurts to walk, but no vomiting eating more then usual abdominal pain, lower bone aching, back aching body temputere rising and then back to normal, frequent hurting, urniating, headaches and more and i dont understand it at all its been going on for about a month now. i dont have a regular doc and and i took a preg test and it was negative i dont understand?

I am only 27 now, and I had always gotten pregnant when on birth control. Nothing seemed to work. I had 1 kid in '98, a miscarriage in '99, a molar pregnancy in '00, a kid in '01, and my last kid in feb '03. In June '03 I had a tubal ligation done. I was told by the doctor that everything went well with the surgery, but I don't truly believe they did. A few days after the surgery I noticed a discharge of what appeared to be dead skin. It was disgusting. I asked the doctor about it and he said that it was just a blood clot (I never saw one like that in my entire life, especially when there was no blood in it!). Anyways, I went home and called my doctor again two months later when my period did not return. I finally had a period in May '04, but my next did not come until Oct. '05. I have not had any since. My doctor tried to give me meds to start my period, but nothing has worked. Any ideas on what has happened? I do not want any sarcastic answers either.

I'm 16 and I'm wondering how old you have to be to start getting hot flashes? Like, at night time, the air conditioner will be on like, 68(it drives my parents crazy because they're always cold) and the ceiling fan in my room is on high. all i sleep in is a tank-top and thin shorts (and undies of course) and I only use a thin sheet for a cover, but I still feel really hot, and I sweat as if it's 78 degrees with no fan. sometimes i'll feel cold but still be sweating. it only happens at night, and it's very annoying. any ideas about what's going on or advice??

My best friend was recently raped and took plan B the next day. this was on the 14th of october, over 2 weeks ago. She thought she got her period saturday, but it went away by Sunday evening and is still "missing". Any ideas on what's going on? Could she be pregnant and spotting?
