I'm 16 and I'm wondering how old you have to be to start getting hot flashes? Like, at night time, the air conditioner will be on like, 68(it drives my parents crazy because they're always cold) and the ceiling fan in my room is on high. all i sleep in is a tank-top and thin shorts (and undies of course) and I only use a thin sheet for a cover, but I still feel really hot, and I sweat as if it's 78 degrees with no fan. sometimes i'll feel cold but still be sweating. it only happens at night, and it's very annoying. any ideas about what's going on or advice??

I can promise you that you are not having a hot flash. Only women in menopause (naturally or by hysterectomy) will experience hot flashes. If you were having hot flashes they would not just happen at night..TRUST ME!!!! I am not sure what could be the problem but it's not hot flashes

You may want to go to your doctor and get your thyroid checked (they can do a simple blood test)... good luck
