until death, unless one bursts. They are no good for you anyway, you can't breast feed your children, Skin or tissue loss and infection.

10-15 years assuming there are not any medical issues. If a person is a weightlifter it increases the risk of bursting the implant. Also, if a substantial amount of breast tissue is lost, the sagging effect can cause the implant to look less natural and a revision may be necessary. I know of a number of women with implants and the "norm" is for them to maintain their implants for 7-15 years.

Implants don't have expiration dates. However, a lot of women get scar tissue and other problems and the breasts end up feeling like rocks. It can also interfere with breastfeeding if you want kids some day. I'm someone who has been very small and very large (after having kids). Small is better - clothes fit better, you don't have to wear a bra in hot weather, you don't get groves in the back. Spend the money on something worthwhile, like an education.

I just watched an episode of doctor 90210 not too long ago and he said that breast implants should be changed about every 15 years. (although i am assuming that with new technology the time span will continue to increase)

If you can get your hands on, I think, Septembers issue of Glamour, it covers everything from front to back about implants...sizes for your body, how often they need replaced, what's the best kind to get, what are the risks.....It was really great, so you know EVERYTHING before you make your decision. Good Luck.

Breast Implants surgery is very safe nowadays. And it lasts for ever. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

I know of women who had them burst,
break, leak and
some had them attach to their muscle wall area and the doctor had to pull them away from their chest....and screamed and cried.
So....I have never had a friend who bragged about them and was happy ...sorry.
