this is so weird! ive had my period for many years now and it should be regular. however, this strange month of september i have had it 2 times and am now having it. I tried to research on google but there are only disorders with people lacking periods or skipping, not having excessive periods.

Why do they make different ones every year? Why don't they make a shot that works against all the different types, and then no one would need to get another shot, or ever catch the flu again?

20 year old athletic college female has headaches, dizziness and fainting episodes. Many tests taken; all negative, altho these symptoms started after she had a concussion a year ago. Her last fainting episode was 20 min. long.

So I've been trying to loose weight after being pregnant for 3months...and it's about 2months after my miscarrage...I would like to go on birth control again, but don't want to gain weight from it. (I was on Depo about 2 yrs ago and I gained some weight) I don't know too much about side effects from birth control..and would rather go on a pill then the shot or patches... can anyone suggest a pill that won't cause weight gain? Thank you!

I am beginning my first month of Trivora birth control tablets (treating p.c.o.s, I am not a whore) and am taking 4 other medications with that, Prozac 30 mgs, Lamictal 100 mgs, Glucophage 1000mgs, and 1000 mgs of Lodine. Can anyone possibly inform me of any interations between these medications? Please? thank you!

Hi, I am 29, 5-3", 130lbs
I recently was pregant (April-July2006), but had to have a D&C due to a missed-miscarriage.

I was told to wait 1 cycle, (Aug 19th). I was very ill during that time, & decided to wait. (lamb skin condoms)

So to now, I am normally on a 28-30 day cycle, and this time I was late by a week & 1/2. But I started on Tuesday, Sept 26th. I had lots of cramping. So bad I needed IBprofin, and a heating pad to sleep (one dose a day) only at night.

So last night, I was using the restroom at 5:30pm, and something unnormal popped out/came out/expelled from within.

It was not a blood clot. This was pinkish-grey, it looked like a walnut, or a brain, like muscle tissue. Now I'm changing pads every 3 hours, and more cramps. It freaking me out.

I called my OBYGN's on call nurse who said "Its a blood clot & not to worry". Well being smart I saved it. I took it to my doc today, they will be doing tests on it.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? Help me!

Today, my friend asked me what type blood I had. I said A-. She said that the negative in A- may be a problem when/if I get pregnant. I was wondering what the negative has to do with anything when/if I get pregnant. What does the negative and positive mean in a blood type?

Today's dosage (Levlen pill) is gone, slipped out of my hand as I was about to take it and went straight down the drain of the sink... It's the fourth week of the package, so it's just a "sugar pill" placebo, right? Should I skip taking the pill today and resume tomorrow, or should I take tomorrow's dosage today and just start my next pack of pills a day earlier? Thank you!

please help me i have a boyfriend of a year and was previously married for four yrs. i have had several sexual experiences and i am confident in my body so i have no problem with sex. i have a problem with having the big O i have never experienced one. i can only have them from oral sex. i need some serious answers cause this is causing problems for my partner and i just recently told him that i had been faking it the whole time. i dont feel its anything he is doing wrong its me because i have always been this way. I'm married, and have unprotected sex with my husband but I'm taking Loestrin 24 for birth control and have been on it since July. Haven't had any spotting between periods until just recently. Just last month I started school and my schedule changed, and I wasn't taking my pill at the same EXACT time every day and I missed a couple of days in the month but not consecutively. I spotted about 1 week before my period and attributed it to having been irregular with my pills. I had a normal 4 day period then started taking my active pills again but missed the second one in the pack. I took it the next day with my next pill, but because I missed it, I started bleeding again for one more day. 1.5 weeks later I started spotting, but very lightly. At first it was only visible when I wiped. This occurred 2 days after having sex with my hubby. The spotting is still ocurring and I'm on my third day of it. What could this be? Would this be ovulation bleeding? I have been having some cramps too.

I've been noticing every time I sit down at the pot, my underwear have whitish stuff. i've ready about it, I know it's vaginal discharge (I'm a young teen >.>).
But, it's kind of yellow. I don't think it's and infection, but it has a urine-like smell to it. I dunno what to do, I've never had a period.

I recently started having vaginal discharge aa week and a half ago and it was irrated real bad. I was rubbing it to calm the irritation. I went and brought some AVEO Yeast pills bcuz i thought it was a yeast infection. But since then it has kind of worsened I have found something that looks like a scratch thats about half a length long and about as wide as a nail on your pinky finger. It looks like a scratch but im not sure what it is. I dont have any insurance at all so i cant go see anyone. Could you refer some over the counter medicine for it. Its also hard for me to walk because it rubs against stuff and its irratble kind of painful. I would preferably like an answer from a doctor... I kno its not an STD because i havent had sex in like 3 months. The thing is though i had oral sex the day before all this happened.

I have seen WAY too many questions from teens/kids on here about pregnancy and such...

then I wonder.. where are all the parents these days!? They should be the first one the little girls should be talking to! But no... she's asking Yahoo!Answers instead... that's pitiful.

What kind of parents are we, this day in age, where our own children can't talk to us about important things such as pregnancies and sex... think about THAT!

Now.. go talk to your kids about sex, alcohol, drugs, boys, girls, periods, SEX, smoking, peer pressure, honesty... etc. (YOU get the picture!)

Quit making those topics such a "no-no" subject... our children are getting taught these things from other kids who don't know the truth! Be the truth to your kids!
