this is so weird! ive had my period for many years now and it should be regular. however, this strange month of september i have had it 2 times and am now having it. I tried to research on google but there are only disorders with people lacking periods or skipping, not having excessive periods.

It would mean you're lik me-- lol
I am on therapy of progesterone, 10 mg for 5 days once a month, to bring my periods back.
But sometimes after the dosing, I have 2 periods a month, or a "never really ending" period that lets up just 2 days before the next cycle should begin....
Furstrating.
My mom said "maybe the dose of homrones is too high",
so what I am doing now is halfing the pills so I only have 5mg prgesterone for 5 days.
Tommorrow is my last day on this dose, and then I will be able to tell what happens.
If you have that many periods, perhaps its because your uterine lining is too thick? (thats what progesterone stimulates- the buildup of lining)
But really, I wish I knew for sure too....

If it happens next month call a Doctor. Sometimes women have strange occurances with their periods. Our body is in constant change, If you have problems again please call a Doctor. Google can't treat you.

If you are just starting or just quiting birth controle its normal but if not you should see your doctor. Yes it is an imbarising thing but there is medication he/she can give you to regulate your period. So that you can be comfortable.

you are relatively young but you may look into fibroids, and a disease called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, as well as endometriosis. Especially endometriosis which starts affecting women at a very young age.

how old are you?
google pre-menopause and visit your doctor. You don't want to become anemic
