it could be a yeast infection. yeast lives in peoples mouths too, and it might have been from the oral sex.
it could just be bad enough that the pills aren't going to be enough. try using something like monistat along with the pills.
also zinc is an immune system booster, so try taking one a day with food.
the "scratch" might be just that. if it's itching pretty bad, you may have scratched yourself in your sleep and didn't even realize it.
i'd give it a few more days and see if it starts to clear up. if not, go to your local health department...they don't require insurance and will not charge as much as a doctor visit.
also, vagisil has ingredients that may irritate you more, so i would steer away from that advice. but, you can use monistat on the outside as well as inside.

I would recommend buying the 7-day course of Monistat (or equivilent generic) and using it religiously at bedtime for a week. You can use a dab of it on your finger tip and apply it topically to the affected external areas as well.
I just had this problem 2 wks ago... and now it is all better!
Also, add acidophillious to your diet. You can buy pills (in the vitamin section) or just eat a 2 containers of yogurt a day. That will help you battle it from the inside out as well

u might HAVE had a yeast infection but because you've been itching it you've made it worse...(u might be scratching in your sleep and now have split the skin slightly with your finger nail)..it could also be eczema or an allergy to something...the scratch wil feel very sore, like a burn if that's what it is, especially when u pee as the urine will make it sting ...i'ts always difficult to clear up a cut in that area as it needs to be kept dry...try a barrier cream sudacrem is a good one.....

The scratch you are discribing sounds like you rubbed just a little too much and cause your skin to go dry which caused a rash.
I found a program that could help you, it's call Uncompensated Care, call around to different doctors to see if they have that program, if they do... sign up for it.. you could get anyware from 80% to 100% coverage and you don't have to pay a dime.

Don't put any creams of ointments on it. I would try Gold Bond Powder (not cream because it is very strong). Probably the cream that you used made it worse since you most likely did not even have a yeast infection and should not have used a yeast cream.

You need to see a doctor, try to find a planned parenthood they are located in every state. they will work out a payment plan or you might qualify for free treatment. but you need to get it checked because it could turn into a staph infection if not treated.

Your reproductive and sexual health are important. Go and see a doctor at a free or discounted women's health clinic. If it's in your area, give planned parenthood a call. The prescription meds are at reduced prices. I get my birth control there.

Don't put anything oil based (lotions, etc.) on the scratch- it'll only make it worse. See a health professional as soon as possible if you can.
