my husband has had a vasectomy when he was with his ex wife. we cant afford a reversal and its not available on nhs in our area. can i get ivf treatment on the nhs?

At the moment I am on an antibiotic to help with my acne. But I am tired of my period. I'm not very regular, they're long and i always have spotting. I thought about the pill to help with my period problem, but i know this antibiotic will make it useless.

I don't know which I should use, the birth control or the acne meds.

I woke up this morning and went to the bathroom to discover that I was bleeding...or at least I thought it was, but it was brown (it wasn't poop). I became confused because I already had my period about 2 weeks ago. What's wrong with me? If it matters, I'm 17 and take Yasmin for hormone problems.

help, a tad stressed out here. My wife is 15 weeks preggo's. On Friday, after a long day out and about (including gorging herself at a food festival), she came home at midnight and we discovered vaginal spotting upon unrination. Initially, it was a very small amount, but bright red.

We went to the emerg, doctor diagnosed it as "threatening to miscarriage". Checked her cervix, it was closed, baby's heartbeat was a bit higher than usual (180BPM'S). She had no cramping or fever, and was braver than anyone I've ever met.

All blood tests came back fine. Spotting subsided a bit yesterday, then stopped altogether this morning. But returned again this afternoon, but the consistency is different. Its a very small amount, darkish color and gooey. We're just waiting it out until we can see her doc on Monday. In the meantime, I've been consoling myself with bouts of nausea.


Any thoughts or experiences,

I need to lose 10lbs because i'm not able to fit into much of my clothing anymore. I figured 10lbs would be easy to lose with something like slim fast. However the first day I started drinking the shake (optra? whatever its called) I got really bad stomach cramps as if I had drank too much soda or something. Also, the shake is supposed to fill me up for 4 hours until the next meal but I only feel full for a little while. I'm more concerned with the stomach aches though.

I'm a little nervous about this I have an iud a medina one had it almost 4 years and I selpt with my son'sdad just one time and now I'm scared about etopic pregency I'm always safe but this one time I was not and now I'm scared so if anyone could have a kind word for me because I do not go around sleeping with people we are working things out so a kind word please help.

I had a miscarriage May 12, 2006 & hardly bled at all afterwards which was weird cuz I had one in 1995 and bled SO much, clots the size of lemons. Well I never even had a period since my m/c and my dr. keeps telling me its normal. My pregnancy tests keot coming up + for weeks and weeks afterwards but my pregnancy hormone was going down lower & lower. Now they are coming up - but I still havent had a period. I am now on the patch hoping it'll straighten up my period but on my off week I had that nasty brownish old bloody mischarge you get ( sorry I know its gross) & I thought my period was coming but it never did. Anyone ever experience something like this before?? Is my body just messed up?? My dr. keeps telling me to be patient and let my body get back to normal after my miscarriage but its been almost 3 mos. HELP

Well, I started taking Marvelon to regulate my periods. I stopped recently, after only 2 monthes of taking them, because they brought back the migraine headaches that i'd been free of for 3 years. I'm 15 years old. Now, after I've stopped, i'm due for another period. I've been getting warning signs for days, now less frequent. Now my pre-menstrual hormones are more fierce than they've ever been. I'm depressed, anxious, panicy, restless, feverish, nausieous, I can't sleep because of frequent nightmares. I have alot on my mind. I discovered shocking news about a good friend of mine that made me feel awful. So that might have something to do with it. This week is my mom's week off work, and I don't want to be like this for it. and I'm to go to this friend of mine's house for the night tonight, but I'm not sure I'll be in the mindset for being away from home. I've had to sleep in my mothers bed for 4 days, because my own bed scares me, because i'd be alone. Is this normal?

Ahh last night I just about threw this computer out the window...I posted an answer to a question about abortion, and related my experience about finding out I had a tumor when I got pregnant.

I discussed being 5-weeks pregnant when I found out, at which point in my stage of gestation, only the yolk sac and egg (gestational) were evident in an ultrasound.

This woman wrote in with an answer below mine, directing attention to my "moronic" answer, suggested that I don't know anything, and asked if humans were having baby chickens now.

Is it possible that people are that ignorant and stupid? Why would you call attention to someone else's answer and call them a "moron" without researching your facts? Well, I did a little research into her answer history, and found out she has already been pregnant twice! Yet she doesn't know what a yolk-sac is?

I just don't understand. Someone, tell me...why?
