Ignorant people are so frustrating!!!! What to do!?

Question

Ahh last night I just about threw this computer out the window...I posted an answer to a question about abortion, and related my experience about finding out I had a tumor when I got pregnant.

I discussed being 5-weeks pregnant when I found out, at which point in my stage of gestation, only the yolk sac and egg (gestational) were evident in an ultrasound.

This woman wrote in with an answer below mine, directing attention to my "moronic" answer, suggested that I don't know anything, and asked if humans were having baby chickens now.

Is it possible that people are that ignorant and stupid? Why would you call attention to someone else's answer and call them a "moron" without researching your facts? Well, I did a little research into her answer history, and found out she has already been pregnant twice! Yet she doesn't know what a yolk-sac is?

I just don't understand. Someone, tell me...why?

I feel bad for you.You obviously try to answer questions in an intelligent and well documented way and then someone like that teats you with so much disrespect.You don't deserve that.
In fact I and I'm sure a lot of other people admire your way of answering and we applaud you for it.

I have found, over the years, that Pro-Lifers are some of the most irrational, judgemental people in the world. This woman is trying to get you to "Think". She wants to grab your attention by pointing out how misled you have been all these years. She has probably been brainwashed by some creepy religion. Some people wear their ignorance like a badge of honor. She'll sit there and argue over the yolk-sac thing, etc., whether or not she has ever taken a biology class in her life. I look at these people this way: IGNORANCE=IGNORE ME. If I were you, I'd pay no attention to her. Because she will use this argument as a segueway to have her immature ideas be seen by people on the Internet.

Keep this in mind when you are dealing with ignorant people. Every one has an opinion, but not every one has an EDUCATED opinion! Always use factual, provable information when making a point... you may teach someone something. Then again, you can't teach someone who doesn't want to learn. Let the ignorant wallow in their bliss.

Forgive them for thier ignorancy and try to explain to them the real facts and new information by this they will be in your side and can see what you saw from the same point of view.

The world is full of mean people. You just have to pity their ignorance and don't let it get to you. As far as here on yahoo answers you can report it as abuse when people insult you. Yahoo will then deal with them.
