Yahoo! is doing a major over hall of its servers in the next couple days. Some people don't have email, some people do not have messenger, etc.
Look around at other questions. Your same question has been posted hundreds of times.

i had problems getting mine started yesterday(7-22-06) it kept telling me my password was wrong, which i knew it wasnt. I even went in and changed my password and it still told me it was wrong. it wouldnt even let me get my mail or get into here.
