Well, I started taking Marvelon to regulate my periods. I stopped recently, after only 2 monthes of taking them, because they brought back the migraine headaches that i'd been free of for 3 years. I'm 15 years old. Now, after I've stopped, i'm due for another period. I've been getting warning signs for days, now less frequent. Now my pre-menstrual hormones are more fierce than they've ever been. I'm depressed, anxious, panicy, restless, feverish, nausieous, I can't sleep because of frequent nightmares. I have alot on my mind. I discovered shocking news about a good friend of mine that made me feel awful. So that might have something to do with it. This week is my mom's week off work, and I don't want to be like this for it. and I'm to go to this friend of mine's house for the night tonight, but I'm not sure I'll be in the mindset for being away from home. I've had to sleep in my mothers bed for 4 days, because my own bed scares me, because i'd be alone. Is this normal?

You are experiencing temporary insanity and temporary physical illness from the hormone fluctuations in your body.
Avoid stress, don't worry about going anyplace until you feel better. Sleep when you want and be generaly good to yourself.
If you can stand it as things are, give your body about two weeks from the time you stopped taking the birth control. If after two weeks you are still experiencing these symptoms, Please, Please, Please, see your doctor. Your doc may want to put you on something else to ease the transition from the pill to no pill.
You are having an extreme reaction, but it is within the bounds of normal and not too dangerous.
Hope this helps.

first taking any medication is not normal, most women do not have a regulated period naturally...so why would it be normal for them to be right on the dot every month? all these symptoms are from taking the medication, most medication causes problems down the road worse than why you were taking them to begin with. It's an easy way for people to make more money. You should have tried to find out the cause of the migraines, medicine does not take care of the problem it only takes away the sensation. So the problem is still there. Go to a natural doctor..no medication, like I said the medication just made more problems. A natural doctor will actually find out the cause of these headaches and other problems and cure them, not just treat the symptoms.

No its not normal. Hormone imbalances can cause pychiatric symtoms. for the hormone problem see a specialist, called an endocrinologist. Many women have depression and other symtoms around their menstrual cycle. Also see a counselor, get some treatment for the depression and anxiety. With these two you have all your bases covered. You should start feeling better. With some simple blood tests and medication your problems could be taken care of. Good Luck!!

My best friend used to take this, and she would be happy one minute and then freaking out and screaming the next, and then she would stress over school tests so much that she wouldn't sleep for 2 days because of increased anxiety. She then started to get extremely light headed when standing and would actually faint and fall onto the floor, and she would complain that her heart hurt extremely bad cause it was beating too hard and too fast. I would definitely get off that birth control, it has a lot of callbacks on TV and a lot of people are suing for the problems that it has caused.

No it isn't normal. I would contact your physician. You will have some side effects when you stop taking a hormone pill, but those should settle down. These are pretty severe... and I believe they warrent going in and getting checked because there could be even worse things that you don't notice happening because you are so beside yourself. Please go in and get looked at first thing tomorrow.

What you are describing is not at all normal. When changeing levels of hormones as you are doing some major problems sometimes happen. You should see you doctor immediately and perhaps consider taking an anitdepressent if he thinks it will help.
