Yes. I learned the hardway in Italy where there are stand up only bathrooms. The idea was mind boggling at first, but when you got to go, you got to go.

Women can in fact urinate while standing up. There is nothing physically that prevents it.
Culturally most people find it repugnant to urinate on themselves or their clothing, thus the shame if someone gets drunk and "gets themselves" (male or female)
Most often if a female urinates while standing up I would think it would be while in the shower. I have heard anecdotal that some doctors have recommended that people pee on their feet to prevent athletes foot. I do not know if that is accurate. Some people believe it to be true, and so do it. I understand that the singer Madonna may be one of these people.
I guess the shower would be the least offensive place to attempt this act as you have quick access to soap and water.

yes they can, in my city, some bars/clubs are now changing the way women go to the toilet
whilst you may have heard of two lavotories in one cubicle (so women can trully go in pairs!)
they also have a urinal that the woman straddles, and pees into similar to how a man does.
if i had knowledge of a site where a picture was of this new type of urinal, i would post a link, but unfortunatly i do not.
The aim of the female urinal is so toilets can trully be shared, as noone would be able to see anything of interest

Sure, a woman can stand and pee. It might be messy, but it is physically possible for a woman to stand and pee. Not the neatest thing in the world though.

Yes, it is possible for a femal to urinate standing up. Just offer me a dirty, public toliet seat and that's what I do.
