My menstruation cycle has not been since the age of 12. At the age of 16, I asked a doctor if it was normal to not get my period regularly, He said it was normal for my age. Now, at the age of 18 I was wondering if an irregular period is still considered normal?

My teen daughter is suffering from stretch marks on her upper thighs. I never had them. She's not overweight. (She's only a Jr. size 9)

Hello there! I have a bit of an issue, and was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar, or has any advice to offer.

I have not had a period for over six months now, and I am not sure what could cause that. I am eighteen years old, and have never been sexually active. I have experienced no other symptoms. I'm worried though, and have scheduled an appointment with my doctor. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks for reading.

For about a month now, I've notice that when I have sex it hurts as soon as he sticks his penis in. It's a very sharp stabbing pain. After a while of thrusting (sorry to be graphic) pain eventually goes away.I'm also always wet before intercourse begins. What can this pain be?? I made an appointment for the OB-GYN for next week since they are so booked. I'm so worried. Could it be an infection? I have tried most over the counter feminine products but with no success.

Convince my mother to take a very important blood test that could determine one way or another if I got her genetic blood disorder from her or from my father? I need to know very soon. She was talked out of having this test by my oldest sister, who believes this test and my disease is bogus. I love my mom very much, but she doesn't understand the importance to me to have this test done. She is 76 years old. Without her blood being tested, I can't get the proper medicine for this disorder. Although there is no cure, I can receive treatment to prolong the inevitable which is death. I am confused and angry towards my family members. Any thoughts in this matter would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

ok heres my question.. and you can answer it as how much comfortable you are. Do you enjoy sex more with a women or a man? Because lots of my friends (their girls) say its far beyond more pleasurable with a women than a man... and that they know how and where do to it. Is this normal? The last two days I have had hard bowel movements that have caused me to bleed. I am a 25 year old female and weigh 115 pounds (and no I am not menstruating). I usually have normal bowel movements, and I also have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) which causes a soft stool and more frequent bowel movements than normal. I have IBS as a result of having E-coli in 2000 (the Walkerton, Ontario Canada E-coli disaster) I’m sure you heard about it on the news. The whole town had bloody diarrhea.

Anywho, that was the last time I had blood in my stool. However, I do not think that I have E-coli right now, but because I did have it before it raises some concern. I do not believe I have e-coli because when I did have it I had horrible cramping and bloody diarrhea. Right now, the last two days I have had no cramping, my stool is hard and the blood I don’t think is actually in my stool, I think it is the direct result of my hard bowel movement. Anyways, the question that I am asking is, is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? And what is your opinion on my condition? Is this a result of not enough exercise or something that I ate or something else? Should I be concerned?

I'm a 24 year old female who lost her virginity very young. Now I never bled when it happened. My friends all said that they did when they lost theirs. As a child I would be touched by my young boy cousins. I don't remember anything else happening. Do all girls bleed when they lose their virginity?? I know I'm a grown woman now but I have thoughts that maybe something happen to me as a young child that I might be so traumatize that I can't remember.

I have risen above a lot of negative crap in my life, to become a creative, giving, super diverse and very loving person...thing is I'm still fearful in relationships ... (bad father issues: real one killed himself, step-dad was abusive) I never turned to drugs or alchohol but became a recognised athlete and performer instead.The only place I can work thru this with authenticity is IN a relationship tho...and I unfortunately come with some baggage, Do I have to be perfectly healed before it's realistic to accept another love into my life?

i have an irregular menstruation and i thought its just fine since they said its natural but having it every 4-5 months worries me. I was wondering if this will affect to my health by not conceiving once i get married. Will this mean am not capable of having a baby?
