I'm a 24 year old female who lost her virginity very young. Now I never bled when it happened. My friends all said that they did when they lost theirs. As a child I would be touched by my young boy cousins. I don't remember anything else happening. Do all girls bleed when they lose their virginity?? I know I'm a grown woman now but I have thoughts that maybe something happen to me as a young child that I might be so traumatize that I can't remember.

A lot of children do repress what happened to them when they were sexually abused, so it's possible you could have blocked some memories .. generally they stay blocked until you're old enough/safe enough to let them out.

But you could have torn your hymen before you first had intercourse, so maybe that's why you didn't bleed. Not everyone bleeds buckets (in fact I don't think anyone does!). The hymen can get torn from masturbation or molestation or exercise or tampons or a doctor's examination.

I won't tell you to go get therapy but would just like to say that if you have problems with relationships, addictions, self esteem, depression, etc. there's a good chance that they're linked to what was done to you when you were a child. I'm a survivor myself and do a lot of work and reading on the subject. If you do want to know more about it, maybe some self-help, please check out my links below. It's all free, and anonymous.

no not all girls bleed. some bleed alot, some bleed alittle, some don't bleed at all. and this is because there is a tissue covering the part where a guy puts his penis. and some girls just don't have this tissue AT ALL. some girls that are physically active, ones that ride horses alot, this tissue will be removed over time from the riding of the horse. take it from me, girl u are o.k, stop worrying about the past and focus on the future

Not every girl/woman bleeds when they lose their virginity.
I know for myself i did however my sister-in-law didnt because she grew up riding horses constntly.
People say that certain exercises and horseriding etc. can break the hymen therfor when it comes to these girl having sex, the hymen is already broken so theres no bleeding.
I also had a friend who claims that instead of bleeding like a menstrual flow the 'cherry' came out in one peice.

They probably did push too hard when you were young and you are just suppressing the memory. Maybe go to a psycho-hypnotist and go back to that time.

I know that my mother's friend told me that when a girl falls on her bike a lot that can also break the hymen.
