For about a month now, I've notice that when I have sex it hurts as soon as he sticks his penis in. It's a very sharp stabbing pain. After a while of thrusting (sorry to be graphic) pain eventually goes away.I'm also always wet before intercourse begins. What can this pain be?? I made an appointment for the OB-GYN for next week since they are so booked. I'm so worried. Could it be an infection? I have tried most over the counter feminine products but with no success.

Could be an std, could be you just get dry for some reason which happens to a lot of women, and feminine products usually iritate the vagina. Just get yourself checked out, hope that was helpful.

It probably is a infection. It could be just a yeast infection or it could be more serious. Hope you practice safe sex. Good luck.

Could also be a cyst, or possibly a uterus infection. Do you use an I.U.D?
