OK, so I know its controversial, and I'm not trying to open up that can of worms, but I just got the vaccine for HPV. Now, my BF is afraid to have sex with me (we don't use condoms, we've been tested & we're STD free, & we've been dating for over 5 yrs-totally monogamous). Does anyone know if it is possible to spread HPV after having been given the 1st injection. Also, he also said I might not be able to donate blood now b/c of it. Does anyone know if this is true?

I have just started wearing one-day disposable contacts. I find that I am constantly aware of them. They are not painful, but I find I am just that..aware of them! Its ok when I am outdoors, but inside (ie heated rooms) my eyes get a bit sticky.

At the moment I'm just not sure if I want to go down the contact route. I'm sure I will get used to it but will I just learn not to notice them or will I just learn to ignore it?

I got sick about last thursday....from that day on i've been coughing and coughing....later i got these white stuff on my tongue and it hurts....i did threw up once, only a lil...I just want to know how can i get better soon and what is that white stuff on my tongue that gives me pain?

Hello America! Hope everyone is having a great day..can someone please anwer this...Everytime I start working out I notice veins that all of a sudden appear on my legs?? Why is that and should I worry? I also get a lot of bruises but I know thats caused by capillaries bursting from what the Dr.has told me. I just don't know if maybe im working to hard or what? Please let me know..Thanks! =)

I was recently very ill in the hospital in Lake City, Iowa and i was in for dehydration and other things. Anyway there was this awesome nurse whom I really wanted to thank for her help in making me better, her shift was over before i got a chance to talk to her. I was in Stewart Memorial Community Hospital in Lake City, Iowa. I remember she was an NA and her first name was Leah. Thats all i know and their website doesnt give me any info to help me either. Please Help.

I am thinking of getting lasik, but am wondering if you have to wear your glasses before getting the sugery, I should wear glasses, but I just dont want to wear them. Is it possible just to go in and get the surgery without correcting your vision with glasses first?

i have enough medical proof to state by their means that i am brain dead,etc. someone even put my mane on a stone. now, after too much to say here, i am able to reconfigure comp. internal hard drives, settings for i-net, repair supposedly irreprible hard drives for media play, and more.
the thing is i have had not formal training in any of these areas, yet without books, i am learning the language of the i-net.(too).
i figure i might be getting in trouble for doing what i can but not having the proof of why i can do it.
i hate more problems.
anyone out there help me figure out what the heck is going on before i have to try to explain these things, areas also include languages, math, sciences. the seizures were grand mal, petite and temporal lobe. i should be dead cuase of lack of o2 during an asystolic code in oct.13,2006
what is going on here? any help will do, i only need to guess, not even to know?

I tend to drink a lot of soda, not coffee, but everytime I try to stop, I get horrible headaches. I know that it is from withdrawl, so I was wondering if the there is a good way to wean myself off, without the headaches, or if I should just go cold turkey, and suffer through the headaches.

sometime's when i take a dump it's like i'm done but than i end up back on the can less than five minutes later and this can go on all day any thought's as to how to remedy this.

I recently got a new job. I have to travel every other week out of state, and overnight. My wife died a couple of years ago, and i'm raising my 12 year old son all by myself. He stays with a person that I know of. I went for a trip to Conneticut overnight last week. My son stayed with this person for the night at my house. He said that he didn't fall asleep untill 11 at night, when he went to bed at 9. He says that he wants a sleeping aid for when i'm gone. Can anybody tell me if there are any sleeping aids for 12 year olds?

With proper training are we able to develop our ear to take higher decibel outputs with no harm, or will it always translate into ear damage? I mean significant tolerance too, like play an acoustic drum set or operate a jackhammer all day with no protection.

Im only 17, and I have BAD migraines almost everyday. I take Advil Migraine for them and it kinda helps, but not fully. I cant take any prescription pills because Im allergic and it makes it hard to breathe for me. Is there another hidden medical reason for migraines AND bad nausea? I went to my Dr. and she thinks Im faking because Im "too young to even know what migraines are" But im serious I have them so bad I have to laydown in a dark room for HOURS. Someone help. What might be another cause? I am kinda stressed out but neven when Im not, I still get them.

I went to the allergist on Thursday to get new meds because I am trying to have a baby and my regular doc said my current asthma medication was harmful to the baby and I need to try an alternative medicine. I got there at 2:45 to fill out the paperwork and was in the office by 3:20. Not bad at all! I waited about 20 minutes when the nurse came in and asked me a few preliminary questions. She said the doc would be in momentarily. The doctor came in with a lap top, he never made eye contact with me, he asked general questions regarding allergies and such, but never gave me a chance to ask my own questions. I had allergy tests done, they put dots all over your back and they didn't wash it off. At the end of the appt. The doc finally came back and rushed through the end. He gave me a few medicines & sent me on my way. I get to my car and I saw it was 5:45! A get home to try to wash off the marker marks on my back. The worst part yesterday they called me to ask me what meds they gave me!
