i am 13 and have had acne since i was 11. i have tryed every thing and it will not go away. is this the reason guys dont like me.

Usually somewhat genetic, appears at onset of adolescence & typically found on upper arms and thighs. My dr. has prescribed Aquaphor, scrubs with salycylic acid, and sun, none of which has helped too much.

My brother is only 22 years old, today he noticed a bald spot in the back of his head that is about the size of a quarter, he also has facial hair that is not growing back in one spot. He is going to see a doctor soon, but i just found this out now, are there any opinions on what it could be?

hi my daughter seems to be suffering with teen spots and blackheads on her nose, we have tried blackhead washes and nose strips, but doesnt seem to help, also the spots are around the chin and nose area, any ideas...

i have a wierd sort of rash on my hands, mainly between my middle fingers. they're quite red and sometimes itchy. they seem to be growing in a circular fashion but i don't think tis ringworm because my sister had ringworm a while back and it doesn't look like that. i do wash my hands A LOT because i'm a compulsive handwasher and though i do moisturise a lot, my hands seem very dry. the rashes also appear with tiny, tiny blisters around the rashes too.

any ideas what this could be? many thanks.

I have this coldsore witch is like a zit too right on my upper lip line. I have a school dance coming up and I really want to get it away before the dance. Are there anything that you can make or by chep to make it go away in a week? I really need it gone! HELP

I've taken my 8 month old to the DR. and he doesn't know what they are...we've ruled out chicken pox, hand-foot-mouth and also alergic reaction to new foods. There are usually around 20-40 bumps and they have no pattern. They start out as red splotches (dime sized) The center then raises up and becomes a semi-hard white bump (pin-head sized) It continues to raise up into a little fluid filled blister which then bursts and gets crusty and then goes away. Each individual bump goes through this cycle in about 36 hours. The entire situation takes about a week to resolve itself, although sometimes there are a few of these bumps all the time. He doesn't have any other symptoms with them other than irritability and interrupted sleep. Has anyone else had experience with something like this?

Are there any signs of acne subsiding to look for during treatment? I've been using proactiv twice daily for about 2-3 weeks now, and I only feel that my acne has become slightly less visible. There are more blemishes, but they seem deeper in the skin but less visible.
Is this finally a sign of them clearing up?

Proactiv users: have you experienced the same thing? How long did it take you to have noticeably clearer skin?

my acne is not tht bad just a few pimples before my period and small, skin coloured bumps on my forhead and chin...ive tried almost all of the over the counter face washes and scrubs including proactive...i dont know wat else to try..do any of you know whether there are ne good anti-acne pills i can take with no bad side effects?? (im 16btw) any other ideas??thnx

today i burned my finger how serious is the burn:

the affected area appears to be white.
doesnt hurt when touched.
surrounding area appears to be red..

what treatment should be given
