Dab some milk of magnesia on the pimples after you wash your face. Whatever you do, don't pick at them. Watch out for hair care products, shampoo and conditioners that leave a residue because they might be the causes. Change pillow cases often and make sure you clean your skin well before going to bed. Drink a few glasses of water daily and cut out sodas and chocolate. Doctors say that's old wives tales, but believe me and all the other people who swear that sodas, especially cola drinks and chocolate do cause break-outs!! If nothing helps, go to a dermatologist.

If by pimple you are refering to a whitehead- then apply heat. Use a moist clean washrag, hot as you can stand, as often as you can stand. Or you can try a steam facial- cover your face with a towel and hold your face near a boiling pot of water to concentrate the steam on your face. This will open the pores of the face and help get the pimple to drain on it's own. Resist the temptation to poke, prod or squeeze it. When it is ready, it will drain on it's own. At that point, if you have some witch hazel, wash the spot with that. If it drains on it's own, it will heal quicker than if you try to interfere. If you squeeze it too soon, you can rupture it under the skin and make matters worse. Avoid the lotions and potions, they won't help.

I started using ProActive Solutions about 6 months ago and I know it sounds crazy and expensive but it works really. My whole family is using it now even my kids' babysitter and her children are using it now, it has worked for everyone that I know has tried it. If you really figure it up cost wise ProActive doesn't cost anymore than you would pay for a set of cleansers at Wal-Mart!

70% alcohol on a cotton ball, q-tip or whatever. Apply 2 times a day. It will dry it up....and it is cheap.
