There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Hi dear,
I am a detox specialist and I specialize in helping people solve small problems like tat via natural, effective methods.
There are a few things you can do:
- Eat organic sunflower seeds, nuts, flaxseeds etc... buy a batch of mixed nuts and eat a little everyday for about a week. Match this together with a detox programme. People with dark eye rings tend to have more 'worms' and bacteria in their stomaches and both the detox and the seeds help to remove them.
Detox is also important because most people with dark eye rings have weaker liver and kidneys. Detox helps to make them stronger and prevent your dark eye rings from coming back.
And the detox is simple. All you need to do is three things.
Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.
Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods that I take to enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.
Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out and help your body start to accept water.
- Pound organic wheatgrass and put them on your eye lids and then put a eye patch over your eyes and sleep. Do this everyday for about a month and you will see improvement.
- If that is too much hassle for you. I have a very good eye cream I can recommend you. My sis swears by it and has lightened her ye rings and even wrinkles around her eyes after just using it for two weeks;)
And that's it.
The rest is up to you.
So what do you think? ;)

I am sure there are some good holistic and natural medicines/creams you can use. I would check out the healthstores or even see a dernatologist. In the meantime, I would just use a really good cover up. There is the white coverup that you dab under your eyes, and then you can put a bit of foundation over that.

I feel that it still got something to do with your sleep pattern. Start to have a good sleeping pattern.
You can try NM skincare products which do include removing dark rings underneath eyes. It's very popular throughout the world and have make wonder to many if not all.
Do let me know if you need more information on this. I can share my little knowledge with you.

Unfortunately these dark circles wont go away. They are the result of the blood vessels under the thin skin of your eyes. Although you can try a lightening cream, it wont help. You should find a concealer that matches your skin tone and apply it lightly to that area.
