I have had a cough for ...oh... like, a month and a half. I assumed since i live in VT and its cold and cold season here, i was just being reinfected with multiple cold viruses. I also work in an office, so i am exposed to many people everyday. About three weeks ago, i began having a slight pain in my chest (right side) just below my breast. It started out as a small spot, only hurting if i coughed extremely hard. Lately, it has hurt to touch, breathe deeply, cough or sneeze. I have no insurance, so i was hoping to find a simple answer and remedy here. If not, of course, i'll go to the hospital. Any ideas would be extremely helpful. Thank you!!!

i just found out what a deadly material asbestos is , people who come into things made out of asbestos like asbestos brake linings, asbestos roofing materials, asbestos insulations fibres- they all can get lung cancer and die a slow death . people avaoid asbestos as much as u can and try to get it banned it in your country

I don't use patches or gum. Just cold Turkey. So far it has been easy and I haven't really craved that badly. However I am normally a very well and healthy person and smoking never gave me any ill effects (unless I smoked too much at a party the night before). Since giving up I have had two colds/flu like symptoms in the space of a month. Very congested nose, headaches, sore throat and cough. The last cold I had was 4 years ago. So far I am not pleased with the results and may take up smoking again. Did anyone else have the same symptoms and will it go away?

what do you think is the best food for the people with pulmonary diseases like emphysema, asthma or COPD? do we have to cook chicken? or fish? or meat? do we need to increase or decrease their fluid intake or something like that..? I'm just getting over the stuffed head aspect of my flu, and now everything is movind down into my chest. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have mild asthma. Just because of that small fact, I can end up coughing fitfully for weeks on end. So now I have 2 questions...

1. How can I treat the asthma without having to take meds...
2. Am I still flu contagious after I stop all other symptoms of flu? (except for the nasty cough... The only reason I tire easily is because I do so much of it and run out of breath...)

Because I have asthma I can't take OTC cough meds (because they could mask an asthma attack). I've run out of asthma meds, and can't afford new ones. Is there something that I can do to ease my breathing? Thanks!

I am currently on anitbiotics, doxcycline and I am also taking predisone because I have asthma, I have been sick with this for almost 6 weeks now, I keep everything clean around me and try to stay away from sick people. My concern is the antibiotics will not work, does anyone have any ideas for treating mycoplasma. My coughing it so horrible I am now vomitting after each meal. Any advice you can give me would be very helpful

I have also been taking Mucinex, albuterol for wheezing, cough syrup at night with hydrocodone. No fever, but am still weak. How long is it safe to use these asthma inhalers? Cause tremor and anxiety.
