Let me guess the box says "FOR CHILDREN 2 and UNDER CONSULT YOUR PHYSICAN"? Right?
Yeah I thought so.. you NEED to do just that and not be asking for doseage recommendations online. The only person that can give you 100% correct doseage information conserning your 17 month old is your doctor.
If you give baby too much it can cause serious, serious problems and can even result in death. That's why it says consult your physcian on the box!
So honey do the right thing and call your doctor ASAP before you even think about giving that baby any of that medicine!!!!

Be smart...its your childs life in your hands! Good Luck!

They always say it's by weight not by age. That's right. If you want to get a hold of the doc, that's fine, but just do it by weight. It should say so on the box. If not, you can call any nurse line and ask. If you have one in your area, they have pediactric nurses who answer the phone!! It's definetly worth looking into!!

You should not give Robitussin to a child that young. You should talk to your family doctor or pediatrician.

Check the bottle. I believe it goes by weight not age.
