I've done the obvious and went to the doctor and he told me they weren't warts or an STD. I have these small white bumps on my finger. They started on my pointer finger and didn't do much but slowly repopulate around the knuckle. Recently it's started spreading throughout my hand. They don't hurt, it's like dead tissue and slightly portrudes from the skin. Since I'm in the Army the doctors suck really bad. They said they would call back and never did. Is there anyway I can figure out what it is?

Why does no one take note of the DNA string no. 22? It appears that the affect of modern living alters this DNA string to change normal cells into cancerous cells. Can any one tell me if they have seen any studies on this???

I was diagnosed with breast cancer 1 year ago and have chosen non surgical treatment. Apparently 5% of women choose this path. I would like to hear from anyone in a similar situation.

My mother had cancer, her two sisters had breast cancer, their father, my grandfather had tumors which was probably cancer, and my dad had prostate cancer?? I don't know about any one on my dads side of the family because I don't speak to them, but what do you think my chances of cancer are?? I've already asked Dr's to see if they can run some tests to check for some early signs because of my family history, all they tell me to do is call if I find a lump in my breast?! Are there any other signs I should be looking for??

i know i know... i've read about 10 q&a's on yahoo alone regarding this problem.. but being a cronic hypocondriac, i just can't help myself. :P

so here's the story.. i've went to a party a week ago. hard smoking and drinking, shots and 1+ pack o cigarettes. the next day i woke up with a very sore throat.. after buying some antiseptic pills, the soreness went away little by little. BUT, after 9 days.. i still have a dryness sensation near my palatine veil. i guess that paying constant atention to it and dry caughing all the time didn't help, nor the fact that i exercised in the cold 2 days and drank a cold beer a couple of days ago.

but i'm still worried. i've been a casual smoker for 3 to 4 years, i'm 17 now. i'm quite worried about cancer. googleing (no advertising sry) around + my imagination is a bad combination.

i'm not worried about the sensation of iritation and dryness when i breathe through the nose, but more of the duration of my condition. 9+days.

When I was a kid the only cancer you ever heard about was lung cancer. I never heard about skin cancer, testicular cancer, breast cancer, bowel cancer. And the only people who ever got cancer were old people or those who smoked.

These days everyone's getting it, at all ages.
