I was just diagnosed and afraid to take the drug they recommended due to it influencing dopamine levels and potential for hallucinations and severe obsessions with gambling, sex, overeating, and shopping. there are lawsuits against the company for these life wrecking side effects.

I have been sleep deprived nearly 25 years and on bipap/cpap for 15 with little abatement of the many health effects. I am finanlly starting to get some of the errors made in treating sleep apnea corrected but it will be in vain if I can't get the PLMD under control. I think they said I did it 175 times in less than 6 hours and weach time disrupts your sleep.

I have not been able to find much alternatively since my diagnosis three days ago. I was considering dopamine raising herbs..anything else? )it is sometimes treated similarly to restless leg syndrome although it is a different thing..involuntary and under sleep unlike restless leg which is when awake and asleep. Dopamine also is related to

My doctor said I have significant air restriction in my lungs. I've never used an inhaler before and I'm a little afraid of them. It's basically steroids, right?

What can I do naturally to improve my lung capacity and to counter any problems from the inhaler. I know I need it right now, but I'd like to wean off it, if possible.

I know that Thyroid medication includes Tyrosine in it, and when I take Tyrosine, my fatigue is gone...but I have had my TSH, T3 and T4 checked and they all seem normal. Here are the results:
TSH= 1.65
Free T3= 3.23
Free T4= 1.45

Now, does Tyrosine also help with Adrenal gland deficency? I know a couple of years ago, a doctor measured my Cortisol and it was low(it was 4.9 and normal range should be 5-21 in the morning) but when he prescribed cortisol, it made me feel worst, so I stopped going to him and stopped the medication....... does Tyrosine help with Adrenal glands too??? or just THyroids??
I just can't figure out why Tyrosine is making my fatigue go away...off course, in the afternoons it gives me a bad headache

Hi all; one of my friend is suffering from a rare disease called fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva(FOP) which was earllier known as myositis ossificans progressiva.This disease causes muscles and other connective tissue to turn into bone, eventually causing immobility as FOP bone fuses joints. It can be said this disease is a very advanced level arthritis/myositis ossificans. Does anybody have ever heard about it? Also can anybody suggest any homeopathic/unani/ayurveda or alloepathic doctor who may help in this case? Since arthritis have treatment in homeopathic/unani/ayurveda, I beleive they might have solution to this also. Please give me the contact details of the doctor if you know any.If anybody want I can write the full detail of patient and also of the disease.Thank you so much, regards, nirupama.
