Smoothie King is awesome! You can customize your smoothie any way you like it. Also, most stores sell many health products (not always evaluated by the FDA). Be careful about what you order, though. Some smoothies are designed to make you gain weight, carrying over 800 calories! If you are looking for the healthiest way to go, you should ask for a low-calorie, high protein smoothie with no "turbinado" added. It depends on what fruits you like. Also, they carry "boosts" that add mulit-vitamins, ginko, caffeine, and fat metabolizers (among others) to your drink. Ask the person at the counter what they recommend.

It's ok, but watch out for added sugar and lots of starch calories. The body is designed to store this excess energy in the fat cells around the middle.

From a nutritional perspective, you're probably getting better nutritional support from the smoothies, than from most other foods you're eating. Just don't overload on calories but having a smoothie to wash down a burger or a slice of pizza.

Well I must say, I went to their website expecting it to be a lot worse. Having said that, I personally would not drink them. I make my own smoothies using all organic ingrediants and if I buy one on the go, I make sure it is from my local health food store. I myself, would not purchase one from a Smoothie King. I checked out their ingrediants and came to the conclusion that they possibly do not list them all and only list the featured fruits in each drink. I don't like what they use as a sweetener either....but I'm sure it's gotta be better that other fast food type places out there.
Good luck!
