So much stuff laying around: What do I do with all this material stuff? Cards, pictures, gadgets, papers....what's worth keeping? What will have value in the future? Should I take the value for what it once was and keep it within, or should I keep the item itself? Any ideas?

I bought this beginner's crochet kit. It comes with a book that teaches to crochet step by step. I followd all of the directions for knotting the slip loop, and then making the basic chain stitch, but I must be doing something worng, because so far I haven't made a single successful stitch. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong, or know of a website where I can watch a free video on how to crochet?

I have an older model Singer machine where the bottom thread bunches up on the underside of the sewn material. I have been told that it is the timing belt that needs to be adjusted. I want to do this on my own. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

O.K. Here's my situation. I'm a 44 yr old woman raising my 4 yr old grandson. My BF of 7 yrs is now starting a new job. TRUCK DRIVING
So now I have all kinds of time on my hands. At the moment no extra money to spend on hobbies. I do have essential tremors. Which means my hands shake while doing most things with my hands. So that puts out any fine motor type stuff. As you can see I do have a computer( with printer). I don't like knitting.
If you have an Idea of a way I can pass my time away besides watching T.V and reading, (which is what I do now) best sensible answer gets 10 pts !! lol
