I have invested in a boomerang to learn how to throw, but the only time it came back it hit my unsuspecting Bordecollie smack in the back of the head .
Another time it snaked through the air and landed dangerously close to my daughter .
Im worried that I am next .
Any tips

I'm in rural-land without a decent car for the heavy snow...
To get a teddy-bear started (for a travelling adult), can I start with used dryer sheets?
For the rough draft, at least?
If this thing goes well, I'll probably make a better one, but what if I end up keeping the first one?
Is that dangerous? Allergenic? What about the lint that gets left stuck to it, is that a problem?
If anyone knows, please clue me in. THanks!

Hi! I've never made a bear before- in fact, I only really enjy improvising crafts that I've rarely or never done before.
I have micro-fiber suede, and would just like a simple bear, hopefully one whose legs hang down and go flush with the child holding it!
Why do we use plastic joints, and is there are way to go without?
Thank you!

Some examples are on coins, it says "E Pluribus unum" on the one dollar bill, there is a very small owl in the right hand corner.

What other things are there?

All of my friends have their own 'things', one of my friends knitts all the time, another does fencing, everyone has something they are known for except me. I am known as a bit of a b****, i would rather be known for something else!!! But the thing is, I am very picky, I hate sports and am quite lazy. I luv going on the comp and watching tv, all suggestions welcome!

I am using this to hang on the inside of a tent for a wedding so I don't want it to be too heavy. I would like it to be opaque, not see through like organza or tulle. I also don't want it to be super shiny. I don't know anything about fabric. Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction of what type of fabric would be best to use?

I have seen ladies doing some sort of knitting with a single piece of thread and a needle sort of a steel stick to create beautifully designed covers for sofa cushions etc. They seem like nets and you make it by holding needle in your one hand and the thread in the other hands fingers. What is this called?
