I have invested in a boomerang to learn how to throw, but the only time it came back it hit my unsuspecting Bordecollie smack in the back of the head .
Another time it snaked through the air and landed dangerously close to my daughter .
Im worried that I am next .
Any tips

when my uncle went to Australia he brought me back a boomerang and taught me how to throw it.

- don't throw it side arm (most people think you do), throw it just like a baseball, with it tilted maybe 20-35 degrees.

- make sure the other end you are holding is pointed the opposite direction you are standing.

- the curved side sould be on your left (if you are right handed)

- catch it by clapping your hands together, or else you could hurt your hand from the force.

hope it helps.
