I see the vast majority of coins in dealer shoppes are encased in those little square cardboard stapled flips. When you buy them like that, how are you suppose to store them? Do those flips have a plastic or mylar film over them? How do you protect those type encased coins from being damaged?

Is it better to coins from a local coin dealer or online. There is one online dealer www.austincoins.com that appears to be very reliable 14 day money back guaranteee, shipping included. That's just one that I came accross. Purchased a few pcgs certified ms64 morgan dollars from them and am very pleased. But I'm new to all this. But which is better online or local, or does it make a difference?

I am trying to find the glue name (if it's glue at all) that is translucent, commonly used by cards companies to stick the credit card on the paper when sending the card to user. The glue hold the product in place, yet doesn't leave residue on the product when taken out. Anyone knows the name of that? Any website to refer? I need that to hold my products on the insert card.

I am looking for a scarf pattern that is easy, but looks nice. I would like to avoid the entirely garter stitch pattern. Thank you!

I go through a lot of peanut butter jars. I hate throwing them out. Does anyone have any crafts or other uses I could put them to? Looking for something besides candle making.

I while ago I got hold of an old second-hand Vigorelli sewing machine. It did work a bit, but now I can't use it. The top thread gets chewed up, resulting in a mass in the bobbin area. I've tried adjusting the tension - the bottom thread seems not tense enough even with the bobbin screw turned fully to the right. I think this might be a common problem, because my parents used to have one that did the same thing. So hopefully someone can help. Thanks!

This is a tool or machine we have that has been lying around our home for years. Nobody is sure what it is. We have been told it is used to crush garlic, but we are not sure. My mother believes it is some sort of stamp dispenser/cutter. It has a crank, and a two edged barrel shaped blade that spins in a cylinder. Various adjusting screws surrond the cylinder, and it has a clam to attatch it to a table or workbench. It is (discounting the crank, about 7 or 8 inches long. and perhaps 4 inches wide, made of iron, probably cast. The hadle is wooden and spins on a shaft. The inside of the cylinder has grooves or ridges cut into it, presumably to crush, grind or otherwise effect the substance pulled in by the revolving barrel blade. Here is a link to a photo album of pictures of the device:

(sorry about the quality, the pictures were made witha simple webcam.)

If anyone out there knows what this is, please write & tell me.

They put it inside childrens toys to make them rustle. Most commonly found in soft toys especially biuilding blocks. If anyone can tell me of a supplier in the UK that does it or soft toy components in general I would aprreciate it.
thankyou
