They put it inside childrens toys to make them rustle. Most commonly found in soft toys especially biuilding blocks. If anyone can tell me of a supplier in the UK that does it or soft toy components in general I would aprreciate it.

Sounds sad but I took a building block apart to see. Its a very thin layer of plastic with wrinkles in it, hence the crinkle sound. so its definately not bubble wrap.

Have you tried searching the Internet in crafts I seem to get everything I look for in this category, or you can try plastic manufacturers, or toy filling suppliers. hope this is of some help to you.

I think it's just a few layers of cellophane that they put in kids toys to make them sound crinkly.
