But I'm not interested in sports at all. Is there a list of some of the most popular hobbies ? Or how could I find out about classes offered in my area?

There are many hobbies that you could take up. Find out if your city has a community college or community center where you can take classes for a number of various hobbies. If you want to find a healthy hobby, here is what I recommend:
-photography
-yoga
-pottery
-musical instrument (guitar, piano, violin, drums, etc.)
-horseback riding
-learn foreign languages or take classes you always wished you had taken!
-singing
-painting
-acting
-volunteering
-cooking
-sewing, knitting, etc.
-dancing

I'm being biased here, but definately give music a shot. It's a great hobby to get into and you'll have lots of fun with it. Learning a new instrument is always fun to do and is sure to keep you busy and entertained for a long time. For example, if you already listen to a lot of rock music you may wanna try learning the guitar; if you listen to a lot of jazz maybe you wanna try learning the saxophone. There are tons of options!

As for classes/lessons, you could try checking out your local classified ads if there are people offering music lessons. Also try checking out local college campuses and universities to see if they're offering any music classes.

Hope you find a hobby that you feel is right for you. Just remember that the most important thing is that you HAVE FUN with whatever it is you choose!

Sports are not the only hobbies... there are lots. Do you like video games? Reading? Collecting things? Animals? Martial arts? Amusement parks? What do you like? It's what you like and what you do that makes something a hobby.

Once you know what you like, you'll know where to look.

Your question is in economics so i visit offer you an economics answer. at the start, economics is the degree of the wealth of a rustic or place. oftentimes going on economics ignores issues that don't generate a $ fee. In international places the place farmers consume what they advance and sell little or no, all their attempt is unmeasured. Economics is attempting to seem on the fee of issues that are actually not became into money. pursuits are a sort of areas. pursuits are a source of spending. organic intake. Exceptions are issues consisting of gardening, the place we are able to consume what we advance. Or if we make our very own outfits, we stay away from buying outfits. pursuits nonetheless might desire to turn later right into a business corporation, yet in some poorer international places human beings do no longer spend their spare time on pursuits, they use that element making greater money. the main fee is social and private. those with pursuits tend to be happier and use their pursuits to construct social networks (on line activity gamers in many circumstances meet boyfriends/girlfriends/spouses on line) that's a confusing one to respond to from an economic point of view.
