this pottery tulip back when she was in school. It was approx 2/12 ft tall. But she made it in pottery class and it just got broke about 10 min ago. The glue we have doesn't seem to be working. So does anyone know of anything that will work to repair it? The 'stem' is in 2 pieces put the 'flower' is in like 5.
Help! I've always kept it around because it was something she made me.

I'm trying to think of nice ways to remember the special people who work with my kids at Christmas. I know there are alot of hokey crafts you can do and I'd like to give them something more than a box with a generic poem or picture they painted. What would be a craft you've received that was homemade that you truly appreciated and enjoyed? I tried hot cocoa jars one year and the mixture didn't blend right when heated. Sometimes the recipes I find for jars aren't so tasty. Any great ideas? I know it's early but I'm trying for a low stress Christmas where I can have time to enjoy things.

The stamp is printed across the top "district of columbia Bicentennial" and the bottom says "pensylvania avenue, circa 1903". I am sure its an error, because there are 2 stamps, identical, except that one has "USA 29" in the corner, and the other dosnt, so one must be an error. Help please, i would love to know if this is worth anything, or if i should just use it to send a letter.

I am looking to make seeded paper by hand for wedding favors at my June wedding. Because I don't want to be doing everything at once, I thought I would start making the paper now. It involves putting flower seeds in the paper mixture. If anyone has done this...how long will the paper keep before the flowers start to sprout?

I want to make 12X12 inch quilt blocks and need some fun creative ideas. I have never done this before, but want to personalize each block. This will be an Xmas gift and I don't have a lot of spare time so I am not looking for time consuming ideas. Ideas? I know I can search the net, but what have some of you done to personalize and make special quilts? Will be for a five year old niece.

I want an easy and fun stitch to do. I have eight skeins of 100g, 253 yd Chenille yarn. I do not want to do blocks or strips. It is going to be for a five year old.
Also, has anyone ever tried to do something to personalize an afhgan like this before? I was thinking something like a quilt block with her name on it in the center and then crocheting around the square until I reached the desired size. I am not really sure how I would do this, though. Any ideas for this, or maybe a different one??
