This is an actual pending lawsuit in my town. A guy didn't realize he had a million dollar winning scratch ticket and tossed in in the trash outside of the convenience store. A guy who goes through the trash for tickets found it. The guy that tossed it away filed a dispute of ownership with the lottery commission and now it is going to the courts. The guy who threw out the ticket had a heart attack and died and his family is pursuing to law suit for the million.

My husband is on the road a lot as a long haul trucker and when he hits the prairies, there are VLT machines everywhere and he gambles. This time it was only $300 but we can't afford it. I'm nine months pregnant and don't need this stress. He once lost over $10K in a summer before I met him... I just went through hell to get a home equity loan so we'd have money to fix up the place for the baby, and now this.... He seems to think if he tells me about it right away I shouldn't get mad ("at least I was honest about it!") and that I shouldn't get upset because we're doing okay. He can't change jobs cuz we financed the truck he drives over 7 years and would take a devastating hit if we sold it. The gambling episodes are coming closer and closer together and I'm scared for him - and for me. Please help, I feel very alone

does anyone like to play poker, i like to play poker on line(free, no cash games) and i like to play poker for real($20.00 a game, 2000 chips starting with pots are about $120-160 depending on the amount of players and i do win a fair amount of them)
how much poker is to much poker? and would you spend real money on the internet? i wont, its much better in real games with real players, i wont play for real money on the internet, but would you?

A new casino is coming to my home town but without any tables.... :( Just a racetrack and slots. I want to know:

Are the 'GameMakers' set up to make you loose? These are machines that have BlackJack and Keno and Pick'em Poker and stuff on them. Is playing blackjack on one of these a stupid idea? Or is it the same as playing at a table?

With $5 one time I made it up to $30. But I would like to know if that was just a fluke/luck or if these things have real odds/randomness.
