Yes you can, but if you are in the states you will still have to pay tax on the original amount won. Use the off shore Grand Cayman bank, this will earn you more intrest and you won't have to pay tax on the pricipal amount. Just the intrest you draw from it. If you live in Canada, consider yourself lucky. Thanks to the windfall law, any money won in Canada, lotto, casino, or otherwise, is tax free. If you banked it in Canada you would still have to pay tax on the intrest you draw from it. But with RRSP's that can be kept to a minimum. The off shores Grand Cayman bank, even from Canada, is still your best bet. But make sure you pay your taxes cause you will get really screwed if you don't You do have to claim your prize in the State you won it in though.

Not always possible, check the Terms & Conditions (probably available on the lotteries website) to see their rules.
In most, if not all cases, the only real way to get around this is to get someone you trust in the country to bank the winning and take a small bit of it as 'thanks' then send it to you -- otherwise you'd have to open you're own account directly within the country you won it in!

No u cant. U must go bak 2 the country that u bought the ticket in. However u may b able 2 in Euromillions.

Yes and that is exactly what you should do. You will get more interest overseas and then you can just live off of that. It is sad, but never put big money in American banks.
