received 2 e-mails , saying i won in two drwaings fron the UK-LOTTO HEADQUARTERS

i swear, you would the average human being would have enough sense to know that they cannot possibly win a lottery, or anything for that matter, if they haven't in some way entered or participated. why would someone believe that some "lotto" esp. one overseas, would pay them anything? wouldn't common sense tell you that if you really win something, you've won it, and the only thing you have to do is give your name and proof of your entry? some people reallllllly need to wake up and smell the coffee. here's some rules to go by:

If you've never heard of the lottery, it probably isn't legit

if they are telling you to pay them something in order to receive your "prize," then it's a scam

if you never entered it, or don't remember entering it, then come on!

if they are telling you to depost it into your bank account, or do anything other than verify who you are before they give you your prize, it is a scam

if you don't feel right about it, then do some investigating 1st

omg i just lost like over $100 at the casino today, and i'm so mad! i could've done some important stuff with that cash, but instead my dumb *** decided to gamble. maybe i'm just an unlucky person, because whenever i DO win (which is seldom) i win about $5 or $10 or $20, and nothing more. I guess that's how hotel casinos get so nice and pretty, b/c so many idiots feed the slots until they're broke like me. ARRGHHHHHHHHHH i'm so pissed......

Hi we rec a letter from El gordo Loteria Primitiva that would like us to claim our winnings, i think this is a scam they want 10% of the winnings returned to the claims agent after deposit. They provided all a name and phone numbers to Santa Lucia security company S.A. They provided the drawing date of Nov 07 2006 and listed winning numbers as 13-15-16-21-34-36 and stated that the amount was 10,468,770.00 to be sharded with 17 winners. Is there any way to check this out to be sure if it is a scam or not. Sounds too good.Thanks for your help.
