state that legalizes gaming? I think it has been proven in the past (The discovery of the West) that it is a virus for the weak. The wealthy with lucrative venture capital are the ones that pawn us to their influential government backing. What do you think, Is Gaming A Disease for the Masses?

I think it can be.

I see gaming as entertainment. I go into a casino with a certain amount of cash and when that's gone - that's it.

However, many people are not gaming with disposable income, they're using the $ they need to live. I don't see many rich people gambling. That should tell you something.

I think that gambling is a form of entertainment. It is clear that people want to do it, that is why there are only 2 states left that don't have a lottery. Notice the explosion of online poker and gaming? It's what many people enjoy doing.

Sadly too many states feel it is their moral duty to ram their social values down our necks and tell us how to spend our money. In a truly free country they should be allowed to open a casino in any state. If people don't like it, they don't have to visit it.

Calling it a virus and likening it to a disease is rather silly. You could make the same argument about fast food, alcohol, cigarettes, fast cars, chocolate, gasoline, cake, guns, sex, religion, and all manner of other things.

various forms are legal here in michigan. it's not my responsibility to police others on their ability to do things. if you fall, you fall. not me. some shouldn't gamble as some shouldn't drive.
