if i have an opportunity to "jump" someone, yahoo checkers forces me to make that move. sometimes it's better not to take that jump. why? is there a setting i can change?

I used to own this game. there were a bunch of questions in a box. they were like logical questions. there was a green side and a purple side. one was easier then the other.

I've listed six warships for my board game and some traits.
Any input for improvement?

1. Carrier - attack long distances with planes. Large and powerful

2. Battleship - attack shorter distances than carrier, less powerful

3. Submarine - travel undetected. vulnerable to detection and destruction from destroyers

4. less powerful, but specialize in killing submarines.

5. cruisers ( not true to reality) but I made them weaker than destroyers but much faster.

6. minesweepers - very weak. specialize in the removal of mines

7. minelayers - very rare, but i added them to the game to make it interesting. they are small submarines that are very weak and specialize in laying mines. (Mines destroy ships if they pass over the top of them.

Hello all you world dominators who love risk!

My question is, when you do a tactical/tropmovement/fortifacation (whatever you want to call it) is the rule that you can only move from Indonesia to Siam? Or can you move from Indonesia to Ukraine if you own the teritories in between?

We have always played you can only move from 1 territory to another, but our rule book sounds like you can move greater distances if you own the peices in between, even my Risk2 computer game doesn't do that. What's the scoop?

I have a Mah Jong set, but from the rules I have it seems the real version of the game is not the same as the internet versions I've played (matching tiles from different spreads, trying to get rid of all the tiles). Is there anywhere with comprehensive Mah Jong instructions? I've already looked for myself but have been unsuccessful.

there was a game back in the mid to late 90's where each player got a little cell phone and you move around the board with it and there were like these cards that had pictures of teen boys on them and you had to have like the perfect date or get the right guy or something like that (sorry, it's been awhile!) anyways i can't for the life of me remember the name of the game nor can i remember anymore elaborate details concerning the game that would help. Hope someone can help it would bring back so many memories for me and my sister =)

She said she plays Scrabble everyday with her family at Scrabulous but she doesn't know the address as it's saved on her desktop!

So she told me to find it the way she did...by going to Google and typing scrabble online. But how do I get to Scrabulous if I don't have Google installed on this laptop? My father has the toolbar on his computer but not me.

Please HELP! I love Scrabble and Scrabulous seems the right answer...Thank you very much, links will surely help.
