After the general opening sequence (first 10 moves), the middle game starts, but what should be my general strategy during this time?
Should I directly go for the king, or start off taking out other important pieces such as the queen and other well places minor pieces?

The play is called the double double (or triple). The disadvantage of that is the opponent can intercept it but if you count tiles and know they don't have the tiles to do that, then that's when you can take full advatage.

I'm looking for an old board game. I think the name of it is, "Without A Clue" but I'm not sure. ( nope, it's not the game of "Clue") I don't remember if Milton Bradley or Parker Brothers made the game. I tried doing a google search for the game, but did not find any information.

The game included a stack of mystery scenarios, which usually included murder. One person read the mystery scenario, and the other players had to ask questions to try to figure out the mysterious death/ circumstances of the read scenario.
For example, a woman would be found dead with a bag of cat food and a knife. The woman was not stabbed, but was found suffocated. It would be your job to figure out how the cat food and knife played a role in her death.
This was a really really good party game! Can anyone help me find it or know of the right name for it??? Thank you so much!!
