yahoo chess?

i play yahoo chess sometimes and when i win my rating doesnt go up...y doesnt it go up even tho ive won games?

You are probably playing unrated games. You rating will only change when playing rated games.

I actually had this problem before. To increase your rating, you must do at least one of the following:

1) Continue to win games
2) Challenge tougher opponents (Make sure they are at least 100 points better than you)
3) Play as much as possible

This should increase your rating by a little to quite a bit.
