It's just tradition or convention that became a law of chess. For purposes of keeping historical games consistent, the first recorded move of the game is White's. It wasn't always that way. In the 19th century and earlier, black would move first, even in some top-level match games and tournaments.

Maybe because the creator of chess was racist or the creator thought white was the force of god and black the force of hell. People back then were really religious
