My usual opening in chess is starting with the pawn that is the second to the last in the right and moving one space. Then I move the pawn from the second to the last in the left side one space. Then I move the pawns from the very end of the gameboard, both pawns two spaces. Then I move my Bishop upward where it targets the rook sometimes I fool the oppenent and take there rook. =)

I usually play the English Opening, c2-c4. I do this because i have greater control over the opening, then I would with either a d4 or e4 starting move. With those, black has many ways to respond and you have to have at least some knowledge of a bunch of openings.
Also, the English is not as common and it puts the other player on the defensive from the start.

I play Nf3 and follow Kramnik's repertoire according to the six book series :
Opening for White According to Kramnik, 1.N3
By Alexander Khalifman
Kramnik is roughly the same style of player I am, although as world champion is obviously far stronger, and I like the positions I get out of the opening. By following a well designed repertoire book I get consistent lines without needless redundancy.

i usually move the pawn i front of the king out two spaces... that way the queen is open to attck someone but not an overly easy target.

Hi there,
If I play "white" d2-d4
If I play "black", depending on my opponents move I prefer to use "French" defense or occasionally "Sicilian".
Cheers.
