I know it's been a real point of controversy about whether video games can cause violence. I've always tended to believe it was unlikely in a normal person. In part because the violence was so unrealistic and because the characters were so cartoonish. But watching this promo spot for Halo 3 has me wondering about that. The soldiers look so realistic it's a little bit scary. And I can't help wondering if people might have more difficulty separating video game from reality as these games/characters become more realistic.

For what it's worth, I don't question that video games, movies, music, and other forms of media could set off a person who is close to snapping in the first place. But these people represent a tiny percentage of the population.

I've heard the world is coming to an end when it comes out but I wouldnt go that far, I do know that gas prices will be lower cause everyone is going to stay home playing but for the people who has played it or read it alot.. tell me how great you think its going to be compared to 1 and 2?

At my local markets as I have a stall where I sell things; a lot of what I sell are natural based (eg oils, aroma products etc). As a sideline I offer face shapes (not the whole face painted but little pics). I'd prefer to be using a natural product, even if it is one that I have to make up fresh each week.

My Dad gave me some $$ to buy my niece a combined birthday and Christmas present. She is into Barbies. I'm just not sure what is going on with Barbies these days. She is into soccer, so, I'm going to look for a Soccer Barbie. Does anyone know of any Barbies that are both fun and could have a positive message for a young girl? so heres the thing i have a remote controll car and the front left wheel where you connect it to the truck has snaped it is not completely off but to reconect it so it will hold i tryed super glue and various ites to make it hold but i need to know how to melt the plastic cuz i know that will hold please any help will do

I have a Girl Scout troop with 15 girls ages 7-13. (We generally break into age groups at meetings and do different activities.) We will all be tie-dyeing shirts this coming weekend, and I want to be sure to get some good results. All the tie-dye the kids bring home from camp or whatever are all pastel and blotchy. Will adding salt to bright dye colors be enough to get some bright results? I'd prefer to use Rit dye or something instead of having to get involved with alum and mordants and all that... but I want it to be worth their time, too.... Advice?

You have AdKc on the bb. Its heads up 5/10. Its been a harcore agressive game (lots of 3betting, c/rs, some allins). You have been getting the best of him and were up ALOT, but he got lucky twice and now stacks are both 3k. He has never ever min raised b4. However, he has called the flop then raised on the turn. Usually, its a strong hand, but one time you caught him with air.

Anyways he raised to 35 on the button/sb. You r/r to 135. He calls (quite a huge range actually as you 3bet alot).
Pot is 270. Flop comes out AdJc6h. You bet out 200 and he calls. Pot is 670 now. Turn comes out 2s (rainbow board). FIRST question... Do you go into c/c mode for as you are either way ahead or way behind? Lets say you bet out (makes the quiz more interesting)...
You bet 575 now. He now minimum raises to 1150. If you call you will have 1525 behind you. If you go allin now it will be around a pot sized raise. Question #2 call or allin?

Lets say you just call. River comes out Js. Pot is 1485.

I have a question, I am looking at a 2001 silver eagle that is a World Trade Center ground zero recovery, it is authenticated by PGCS (collectors universe) it says that it was recovered from a vault under the world trade center.. It is graded Gem Uncirculated.The person is selling it for $130. Is this a good price? Will this coin have any value in the future? thank you
