how do i remold a remote control cars plastic(see details)?

so heres the thing i have a remote controll car and the front left wheel where you connect it to the truck has snaped it is not completely off but to reconect it so it will hold i tryed super glue and various ites to make it hold but i need to know how to melt the plastic cuz i know that will hold please any help will do

Perhaps you could take a soldering tool and heat up the edges. My brother just uses a match, and heats up both sides, but the open flame also causes warping around the parts.
