I think it was the best shooting game of all time, I personally believe its better than Halo

I absolutely loved GoldenEye 007. I think it revolutionized multiplayer in FPS (first-person shooter) games. It was so addictive and fun! Now I want to dig out my N64 and challenge my boyfriend to a game. I loved my N64, I think it had some of the best games ever. GoldenEye 007, The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time, and Paper Mario are still 3 of my favorite games.

yes, GoldenEye was gaming heaven back in the N64 days, and it's still a decent game. However, you can't seriously tell me that you would prefer to play GoldenEye over a more modern shooter game. I played GoldenEye recently and I got so dizzy and wondered how I ever liked this game. It was a great game, but its time has passed.
And I agree with the first guy, my favorite Bond game is Nightfire on the GameCube.

I couldn't possibly count the hours I put into Goldeneye, and it never got old!! The four player deathmatches were also amazingly fun, even in the limited stages. I don't think I could compare it fairly with Halo though. They're definitely top three shooters in my opinion

I had more fun playing Golden Eye than any other game. It is the best shooting game. Halo is close, but i'm not a fan of the cloaking device.

halo is crap compared to 007 for n64. that was the best of the best. an online multiplayer would probably have been all it needed

It is, in my opinion, the best first-person out there. Eventhough its for the n64 and came out in 1997 it never gets old. The graphics our out dated but the gameplay is revolutionary.
