How great is halo 3?

Question

I've heard the world is coming to an end when it comes out but I wouldnt go that far, I do know that gas prices will be lower cause everyone is going to stay home playing but for the people who has played it or read it alot.. tell me how great you think its going to be compared to 1 and 2?

ive had halo 3 for about a month now(i know it hasnt come out, my uncle is a microsoft sales rep.) it is definitely good but not world altering. the campaign is better than halo 2 definitley but i havent played on xbox live for obvious reasons

I hate the game so much. It is just another killing the alien type game over and over and over again. I like more up to date stuff like metal of honor vanquish for the Wii and ssbb. They will be sick games. You can play them for hours and never get bored. With Halo after you beet the game and play it for hours to me you really get bored. I hate the game.
