With the release of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, the franchise has truly entered the next generation of gaming with a bang, as well over half a million pre-orders were filed for the two games. It also introduced a much different aesthetic feel, since even the graphics simulate 3D.

Plus, the new games host the massive land of Sinnoh and an underground area. Combine that with worldwide battling and trading, and these two games may offer the best gameplay in Pokemon history.

However, there are now nearly 500 Pokemon, so it may be extremely difficult to “Catch ‘Em All.” Additionally, many Pokemon are still unobtainable: players have to pray they can attend a Nintendo event.

The new Pokemon have also drawn criticism; some argue they are much less original than those of the earlier games, while others say the flashy characters belong more in Yu-Gi-Oh! than in Pokemon.

So, how can the Pokemon franchise continue to cater to its older fans while still attracting the invaluable younger gamers?

when i reached the victory road there were two large boulders, one has two un breakable rocks beside it and the other is one step away from the stairs. When i pushed boulder no.1 i didn't go anywhere cause there's an unbreakable rock right infront of it. So what i did was i went up the stairs but there was a long rock right infront of it, so again i didn't go anywhere. Then my last chance is to know what does the white circle in the right side do but nothing happened. Please i need to know how to get thru cause i'm getting boared now.

when i try to hook my psp up to my computer and put music on it a bubble comes up and says that my USB device is not recognized. then i click on the bubble and it takes me to USB Root Hub (4 ports). So the SG guitar controllers [we have two] are both fine with Guitar Hero I, but when we put in Guitar Hero II and try to start things up, the buttons are all backwards- if I hold the blue fret button, it registers as green; if I hold the yellow, the orange is what's actually registered.

Now, I remember my N64... so I of course tried blowing into the part of the controller that plugs into the PS2, but it obviously didn't work, lol.

Like I said, the controllers are working perfectly with Guitar Hero I, but every time we put in Guitar Hero II, everything's backwards. on BOTH controllers. but when we plug in a regular PS2 controller, everything is fine. ...Does the game have a glitch, or is this normal/we're missing something/we have to buy a new controller for the new game? 'cause the problem isn't in the technical workings of the SG controllers- they're still working fine with the other game..
