i have 50 mint dollar bills in sequence with a star after serial numbers. worth anything?

You did not list what series they are. All star notes have more value, for they are replacement notes. I am not so sure I go with you, have 50 and in sequence. It is one of those things that sounds too good to be true. It is not impossible, but highly improvable if you get my drift. Get in touch with a currency dealer. One is www.denlys.com he is a very well known dealer. Others are www.phillipdrivercurrency.com, www.holdencurrency.com or www.executivecurrenency.com, I hav not dealt with any of these, for I don't really collect currency, but do have some historical ones. You are on your own, but these people advertise month after month and are well know.

Star notes are replacement notes for those that were damaged or messed up during the printing process. Crisp uncirculated notes, in sequence, are worth more than face value.

Sorry I don't collect currency so I can't give you a real value but I would think $2.00 per note for a series of 3 to 5 notes would not be out of line.
