So the SG guitar controllers [we have two] are both fine with Guitar Hero I, but when we put in Guitar Hero II and try to start things up, the buttons are all backwards- if I hold the blue fret button, it registers as green; if I hold the yellow, the orange is what's actually registered.

Now, I remember my N64... so I of course tried blowing into the part of the controller that plugs into the PS2, but it obviously didn't work, lol.

Like I said, the controllers are working perfectly with Guitar Hero I, but every time we put in Guitar Hero II, everything's backwards. on BOTH controllers. but when we plug in a regular PS2 controller, everything is fine. ...Does the game have a glitch, or is this normal/we're missing something/we have to buy a new controller for the new game? 'cause the problem isn't in the technical workings of the SG controllers- they're still working fine with the other game..

Are you sure you clearly bought these from a RedOctane manufacturer, and not Ebay? Is it used? I have a black and white SG from GH1 and it works fine on my GHII...

Are you holding any buttons when you start it up? That could be a problem.

you're able to be able to desire to attempt beginning the sport with a classic controller plugged in and pause it then placed the SG administration lower back in. I had a similar issue and that worked for me. yet I took mine lower back to the save i offered it from and that they only replaced it and that i did not have the issue anymore.
