Games & Recreation - 25 January 2007

I've played "Dogs Life," and I'm currently almost finished with "Okami" and I loved both of them. I've been trying to find similar games with non-humanoid animals as the main character, but I'm not having any luck, aside from the Jaws game and Ecco the Dolphin.

I have a PS2 and a Gamecube, so those are the systems I'm looking for.

Any suggestions?

I want to make my best friend a really cool birthday present thats really creative and crafty. She always makes me fun or interesting presents but i want her to be blown away with somethig i give her because it seems as if she always gets the creative fun presents and i just buy her gift cards or something. I dont know what to make her or give her...im not very creative but does anyone have any suggestions.

Do you think that the Sit-N-Go single table tournaments is a matter of luck or do believe the great players can consistantly win in these tournaments?

When every I play these tournaments it seems like it is a lot of luck involved-it basically a "crap-shoot".

are daisy rock acoustic guitars good? i got little hands and they are made especially for girls cuz they are smaller than boys. i heard that they dont make as loud of a sound as other guitars though. if anybody has one are they good for beginners, are they loud enough and are they more comftorable for smaller hands and lap? i'm 13 yrs old and sorta short. would there be a better brand other than daisy rock for my small hands and petiteness?

I have a backpack made out of that synthetic canvas stuff. So whether it's fabric or plastic, I have no idea. Anyways, I'm wanting to glue a rubber washer type thing to it. What type of glue would bond them really well? (Yes, it sounds stupid, but it's a laptop backpack and I'm trying to route some cables from one compartment to another).

My husband and I are huge fans of Dungeons&Dragons ( rpg) but we have a hard time finding others that are willing to play. We recently purchased a new PC and want to explore rpg-mmo's. As we expected, all the people that we have talked to about rpg-mmo's have told us to play World of Warcraft. As we were giving this some thought, we came across Dungeon&Dragons Online:Stormreach. It seems to be more our style but we can't find anyone who has played it or any reviews. The graphics of WOW seem a little cartoony compared to Stormreach. We both know WOW is very popular but we don't care about that. We want to be able to get the most enjoyment for our money. My question is, knowing the info I just gave, which game will we enjoy most?

I've been playing a lot of action/fighting games lately, so I wanted to play a game that didn't really have so much fighting in it, and more of other kinds of stimulation-ish stuff, like Harvest Moon and The Sims.
