My husband and I are huge fans of Dungeons&Dragons ( rpg) but we have a hard time finding others that are willing to play. We recently purchased a new PC and want to explore rpg-mmo's. As we expected, all the people that we have talked to about rpg-mmo's have told us to play World of Warcraft. As we were giving this some thought, we came across Dungeon&Dragons Online:Stormreach. It seems to be more our style but we can't find anyone who has played it or any reviews. The graphics of WOW seem a little cartoony compared to Stormreach. We both know WOW is very popular but we don't care about that. We want to be able to get the most enjoyment for our money. My question is, knowing the info I just gave, which game will we enjoy most?

I don't have D&D, but I have WoW, and it's pretty good, IMHO. They're basically the same thing, I guess, according to my friend that also doesn't have it, but has seen it. Here's a mini pro-con guide.

Dungeons and Dragons Online
----------------------------------------
+ There are 9 classes, with no race restrictions.
+ You can choose your alignment.
- The Druid and Monk classes are missing. =(
- There are 3 missing core races, gnomes, half orcs and half elves.
- You cannot choose an evil alignment(chaotic evil, neutral evil and lawful evil).
+- You only get experience through quests.

World of Warcraft
-----------------------
+ Horde has Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, Undead and Blood Elves. Alliance has Humans, Dwarves, Night Elves, Gnomes and Draenei. Draenei and Blood Elves are not accessible unless you have the Burning Crusade expansion.
+ You get experience from killing monsters or completing quests.
- The classes have race restrictions.

I even have been enjoying over a 365 days on Stormreach and function enjoyed it lots. I even have performed Neverwinter Nights and it has a large style of regulations that i did no longer like. The photos and quests are dazzling in Stormreach and the value is sensible. on the value of a pizza you get to play DnD each time you like with human beings from international. in spite of the undeniable fact that the quests are by ability of cautioned stages a point difference of one or 2 decrease can nevertheless proceed to exist if the social gathering works at the same time and stead of as persons. additionally, there are some quests which you would be able to play solo or with 2 or 3 characters. Guilds are significant in that your fellow guildies will help you advance and now and returned supply you products for loose.
