When I was a Kid you really could put Polly in your pocket! Her house in the shape of a shell or a sqare. Polly inside with her dog or her firend. Now Polly is like 2 inches high and you can only fit the doll its self in your pocket. I miss the old Polly....

I found this Vintage Play House Coffee Maker by Tomy that was made in 1982, I have no clue to what its worth, or where i can go to find another like it. I tried doing an internet search but found nothing. It is new in its original box, with all the toys still in their seperate bags. It even has the original instructions. If anyone can help me find out the true value of this ordinary item I would love it. Thank you.

To me it does not matter. I am content with a game fairly played by venturesome players, reckoning that the knowledge gained in play is vastly more important than the change in the W/L statistic.

But I see that it matters to many players, who sometimes show or speak their distress at my breezy attitude towards play. "Why do you play if winning and losing don't matter to you?" they ask. I reply: "Games are struggles you can afford to lose." That satisfies only some of them.

If winning/losing matters to you, tell me how it matters. Since I often play with INTENSE players (especially go players), your answers will be useful to me.

alright, i havent seen most of my friends since my birthday in may. so we have having on of those "girls nights" where we stay up all night and watch movies blah blah blah.

anyways, my question is, what kind of activities should i plan? are there any games (not board games) or things like that to do?

oh by the way, im not one of those tweens so please no "truth or dare" or spin the bottle and things like that. things that would be fun and interesting would be greatly appreciated!

i am going to be a freshman when school starts in Aug. 21. I selected band as one of my classes back when i did my choice slips in january of 2006. i didnt know how was band gonna be in high school so i just chose it because i played in it in middle school. then they call me to go to practice since july 5 and i was mad because my vacations were too short and my family likes to visit relatives all acroos the country throughout the summer. so i started going to practices even though school starts until aug. 21 and they treat you like if you were in the military or bootcamp. you cannot mess up or they will punish you by running or by doind pushups or other kinds. i started missing practice since last week because i think in my mind it is my vacation and being treated like that oh no. so i decided that as soon as school starts i will change my schedule to something else because i am not going to be treated like that. what do you suggest should i change it because i think i am way behind.

I have an Xbox and a crap load of games, but no Xbox Live. my friend has an Xbox 360, core package, and no games to play (all the money went to the system, none left over for games). he thinks hes king sh!t cuz hes got a 360 but nothing to play on it. so...who wins?

dont tell me to concentrate ive done that for hours and hours , ive completely given up , its a homemade 1 and i was told they worked just as good , i dont care if you dont belive in it , cus it Is suposed to do SOMTHING , Note that ive also ben told its dangerous to do it alone , but i dont kno any1 who will do it who isnt superstitous , so im stuck doing it alone , Now that all sed , what are the exact steps or procedjur used to communicate w/ it , There has to be somthing b sides concentrating on it or beliveing it doesnt do anything and getting rid of it , it took me along time to make it , the planchette is made from a cardboard cut out of a heart w/ the circle and the letters and #s all fit in it its got yes, mabey, OUIJA, no, a- m, n-z , 1-0 , and Goodbye , so now w/o telling me to just put my hands on it, cirlce it on the board ,and concentrate on a question , how could you explain to me the detailed rules of it , thank you .

I bought this electric scooter off ebay, and within the first week of having it, the batteries didn't hold a charge anymore. The company i bought it from says they aren't responsible for anything like that, and they won't even send me replacement batteries. But i need a set of two 12 volt 4.5 AH valve-regulated batteries. Here's the specs:
